Miss Anabelle... She LOVES other dogs and is good with the cats! She is mellow in the house Unless there is a dog (Like cora haha) That is more energy.. then she will keep up. So, she pretty much blends in where ever.
She is AWESOME in her crate, Not a peep. She is probably about 90% Housetrained and working on the other 10%. She loves to eat bones, LOVES them. And squeeky toys fascinate her. She walks wonderful on a leash as well.

Sweet, smart, and studly - what more could you ask for?! Hank is a 4 month old blue cream Pit Bull pup that originally came from a cruelty case with the Humane Society. Hank was then placed up for adoption at the shelter where Pit Stop Bullies was working with him, but unfortunately, he needed more work outside the shelter As you can imagine, the shelter is no place for a pup and he started developing naughty behavior. He has now been transferred to RRinc so he can get some much needed training, and get used to living in the house as a cherished family member.Hank absolutely adores other dogs and would love a playmate (or two! or three!). He is super friendly and playful, but would be best in a home with older children due to his tendency to mouth & nip when excited., and will need to continue training. He is working on his housetraining skills, and with a little TLC, this boy will be way to being a Canine Good Citizen

Meet Miss "Peggy Sue"Peggy was found last week running the streets of Tampa bay. A kind person picked her up and had her scanned for a microchip. Luckily to their surprise she did have a chip and they tried contacting the information provided. All phone numbers disconnected and they no longer lived at the address, but they did find out it was implanted by a local SPCA... Over 10 years ago... So they brought her back to the original shelter where unfortunately they did not have any better luck tracking down the owner... Not only did Miss Peggy have her age working against herm but she has a long term yeast infection that has been an on going issue that was never treated so it's going to take some time to heal her skin. Her poor ears are so badly infected that the canals are almost shut as well...

Looking for a well-trained and beautiful best friend with an amazing story of survival? Heidi is your best bet! In March 2011, a Rugaz representative got a call about a young Pit Bull that had just delivered 10 puppies and was living in a chicken coop outside. She was nursing her newborns on a diet of garlic and rice. Heidi was emaciated and covered in fleas. Despite being a new mom in horrible conditions, she was great with everyone involved in her rescue and gave everyone happy kisses. Thanks to an amazing family who volunteered to foster her and the babies for us, we were able to save this family. Heidi's pups found forever homes, but Heidi still had another problem - she was Heartworm Positive. She has since been thru treatment and is all good to go! Heidi is an active girl that is always up for a walk or run around the block. Her foster dad is currently working with her to help her earn a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, so she will be a well-behaved member of her new family. She is picking up her new skills like that and is sure to impress with her manners! Heidi's foster mom took her on a fall roadtrip to see the leaves, and she was an all-star traveler. Whether it is hiking in the woods or watching the sunset on the water, Heidi will be right there by your side.

Harvey is one tough cookie. This handsome young lad has had it rough the past couple of months but fear not, he's enjoying life and is soon to find his forever home. Harveys a big loveable lug and has the best temperament of any dog - ever. He LOVES everyone and everything. We assume he was hit by a car and had a broken leg (one of the worst the vet ever saw) and now has a pin in it; hoping for it to come out in 4 weeks. Hello, my name is Mia. I was rescued almost 2 years ago by Rugaz Rescue when I was 4 mos old and my name was Tia/Tina. I got adopted by my mommy and daddy and had a pug brother and a mastiff brother who I adored and loved to play with. I'm very sensitive so when unforseen circumstances in our lives forced my mommy and daddy to surrender me back to the rescue I was so heartbroken that I couldn't eat for a week and lost a lot of weight. My foster mommy said she wouldn't have me be sad so she took her time and got me to eat again and feel safe in her home. I'm barely 50lbs so I don't take up much space and I'm housebroken, crate trained, and obedience trained. I guess I'm such a good girl that my foster mom said I need to get a certification to be a "canine good citizen." We've been working on shapening up my obedience skills so I can do that - she says it should be official very soon. My favorite thing to do is snuggle and make people happy by doing what they ask of me and being silly so I can see them laugh. I'll even run and jump into my foster daddy's arms while he's standing up (but only if he invites me to do so.) I can't even tell you how much I LOVE kids and how happy I would be to have a calm (but lightly playful) doggie brother. Cats get me very excited so I guess I can't have them wherever I end up. Anyways...here I sit, once again, in foster care, waiting for a forever home that I can give my whole heart, loyalty, and devotion to. Hopefully the next one I find will TRULY be forever because even though I bounce back from rejection...I don't want to have to do it again.
