Board of Director's Of the “Alpha Society Therapy Dogs",

Operations Director at the SPCA Suncoast,

Devilyn is the most generous, loving soul when it comes to animals. She is not only the Founder/Director of "Rugaz Rescue" Formally "Hernando's APBT Rescue", the Director of Operations for at the SPCA Suncoast and on the Board of Directors for many Non-Profit local organizations. She has dedicated her life to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing her Bully friends, and educating the public on Pit Bull Awareness.  Her utmost concern is for each one of these dogs safety, health and happiness now and for the future preservation of the breed. She simply lives for the faces and smiles she sees on those dogs faces everyday and the smiles on the family's faces when they bring home their new family member.  The joy of knowing that, no matter what, at least a few will be saved and make it. She is an asset to those dogs who are so often given up on. They are lucky to cross paths with her, as she never gives up on them.

  "Natalie"

Director and Adopta'bull dog media relations

Miss Natalie and her crew came to Rugaz Rescue Inc. from the wonderful Pit Bull Forum!  She is such a dedicated Foster Mom and we have no doubt she will spoil all of her foster kids rotten! She has a great love for the breed and we are truly blessed to have her!  She has grown to be so involved with the rescue that she has taken over the Adopta'bull dog's media section and joined the Board of Directors!

"Kourtney"
Director and Foster Coordinator

What can we possibly not say that is amazing about Kourtney and her family? She has jumped through hoops getting training tricks and tips for her fosters, and taken on whole litters at a time! We are truly blessed to have her family be a part of our team and save as many lives as she helps on a daily basis! As with Natalie as well, she has become so involved with this rescue that she took on the role as Foster Coordinator and now also resides on the Board of Directors.

Lisa and Karen
Lisa - Secretary of Relations and Board Advisor
, Karen- Super Foster Mom!

There is not enough wonderful things in this world to say about Lisa and Karen! They came to us from adopting their hunka burning love Baron from us, and now they are here to say! Not only Volunteering at every event, but fostering little ones as well! We love you ladies, thank you for joining the team!
Lisa has again become so involved that she has taken on the role of Secretary of Relations and Coordinating most everything in this rescue!

"Miranda"

Volunteer/ Surrender Coordinator and Board Advisor

Miss Miranda came to Rugaz Rescue Inc. after a long stint of Volunteering here and there, and finally a position opened up and she jumped at the opportunity to take it! She is also heavily involved with many Non-Profits in the State of Florida and is testing out the Board Advisor spot for RRInc as well!

"Angela"

Foster Mom and Board Advisor

Angela came to RRInc. by adopting Mr, Finn. After he got settled she wanted to be more involved, and picked up fostering some pups! Well after fostering some pups, she wanted to be more involved and has taken on designing our new website, and has also become a Board Advisor! Angela is also coming together with RRInc Director to form an Educational BSL Committee, seeing as that is her passion in real life she brings more then we could ever imagine to the table here at RRInc.!

"Cassie"
Website Coordinator and Volunteer

Miss Cassie has come through for Rugaz in the roughest of times.  “Naila”, one of our Foster puppies was stolen and she came all the way out to assist in the search.  She showed us her true dedication and spent endless nights with us searching for Naila.  She is a wonderful puppy raiser and a truly dedicated Pitty girl! She is also dedicated her entire life to helping Animal welfare through many, many years in school... She is half way through to being a Veterinarian and is the Medical Assistant at her local SPCA. So now Cassie not only stays on top of assisting Devilyn in medical updates and new breakthroughs but also keeps our website up to date! Women of many hats she is!

"Justin"

Our Graphics Design Guru/ Volunteer

Justin, what took you so long to find us? You are the missing link we have been searching for! We truly appreciate your immediate dedication to this rescue and our dogs. We know we can be demanding at times. Nothing that you and a case of Mountain Dew can't handle! We are looking forward to a wonderful future with you as a member of our team!

"Joyce Moore"
Rugaz Rescue's Positive Reinforcement Trainer

There isn't enough words in the dictionary to express how thankful we all are for Joyce! It is through her love for the breed and willingness to jump on our Crazy Train that she has helped so many fur-kids in this rescue! We've taught Joyce a few things along the way as well. Thank you for everything Joyce; you’re stuck with us now!

"Wendy"
Foster Mom

Wendy and her family has been a life saver in some hard times saving some lives we wouldn't have been able to without her! Thanks to her, Baby Crash and the Demodex kids are in new forever homes! We love you Wendy!

"Todd"

Foster Dad

*Picture Coming Soon*

Todd came to us by nothing but persistence. He's had bullys all his time, and has a soft spot in his heart for the rescue kids! He brings a lot to the table with him, as he is a Veterinarian Technician at one of the Rescue's main Hospitals. We are blessed to have him helping us save lives one at a time!

"Kelly"

Foster Mom

*Picture Coming Soon*

We can't thank Kelly enough coming on board to foster little girls! She's brand new here, and we already love her!

"Eric "
Foster Dad

Eric originally came to Rugaz Rescue as a call for help. Shortly after helping Eric with one of his dogs, he decided to become part of our Rescue efforts full time
by Fostering and being a die hard Volunteer. Although he Foster Failed his
first foster by adopting him, he continues Fostering and saving lives
everyday. Eric gives a new meaning to living in the "Dog House" as he's
the only human living amongst his five dogs plus his Fosters. Eric shows
true compassion and love for the APBTs. He is helping owners by offering
Education, Awareness, Advocacy, and promoting Responsible Dog Ownership.
We are blessed to have him as part of our Pit Crew.

"Angel"
Foster Mom

We're not really sure how we were blessed with Angel to help in our mission, but boy are we ever so grateful! This woman has not only opened her home, her heart, and her life for these dogs, but is a great support system for the people in this rescue as well! Thank you so much Angel and look forward to all the dogs to come!

"Jackie and Scott"
Foster Parents

We got lucky with this team for sure! They came to us because one of our previous adopters happens to be their neighbor! Thank you both for loving our dogs as much as we do!

"Sarah"
Volunteer

Sarah came to us off of The Pit Bull Forum in the nick of time! We cannot thank her enough for coming in to help Foster Jazz.  Yes, We know he's the best dog in the world, but you can't keep him :) Sarah and her pack of pups at home make an awesome foster team and we are stealing you all for life! Thank you Foster Mommy Sarah, Sister Falise  and Brother Ty!

"The Francos and Pack"
Awesome family of Volunteers!

What a pack eh'! Think they had enough? No way! After adopting Sapphire Blue from Rugaz Rescue, they came back with force as a full foster family once Sapphire was settled! When you get to adopt one of their fosters, you get a dog that is social with small and large dogs and children.  This family is the total package and we are truly lucky to have their "Pack" be a part of ours!

 "Jeanna"

Foster Mom

What can we say? The blessings never stop...we are fortunate that Jeanna has such an immense amount of love for pitbulls because now we have an awesome volunteer and foster mom.  Jeanna began helping our rescue dogs by taking them one dog at a time.  She would take her fosters to attend outdoor events such as baseball games. This gave her the opportunity to not only give the adoptable dogs more exposure but also attract attention that would allow her to educate the public about pitbull awareness and our rescue.  Since then, her commitment has continued to grow.   By the way, congratulations and thank you Jeanna for finding our Luigi his very special forever home. Keep up the good work - your impact to the cause is invaluable!
